Chili

Had a blast today at the Bud Light Chili Cookoff at Hugh McRae park. I have to confess, i’m not much of a chili fan but today I tasted some fine chili. I guess the truth is I don’t have a problem with chili as much as with beans. I’m not a big bean fan. If some beans in the shape of my kidney are staring at me I have a hard time eating them. I’m sure I’ll get over it when I grow up.

The best part of the day was hanging with my fam and some awesome Lifepoint friends. Friends, Chili, Music…good times.

By the way, tomorrow is going to be a service unlike any other in Lifepoint’s history. Don’t miss it. Don’t forget to change your clocks either.

Green Machine
Next week…Friend Day–Pray big time. Get your friends to Lifepoint. Not only is it the kickoff of our “Green Machine” Series but it will be the most exciting service to date.

I’m not sure but it never really kicked in…at least not butt-chapin’ as it claimed?

1) Don’t know nuttin’ bout “butt chappin.”
2) Lifepoint was definitely the place to have been Sunday — Spirit was moving!
3) Did you feel it? The shift that took place when the names were brought forward — it was real!
Edit this one out
4) Coffee Tuesday at 8am?
