One of the pastors that I look up to in ministry is Erwin McManus. I make that statement for a number of reasons. I love the creativity and fresh perspective he brings to ministry. Anyway, I can’t list them all here. I want everyone to click here and read the “random take aways” that Mark Batterson wrote about the Ethos conference that Erwin and Mosaic are currently putting on in New York.
A ” movement of dreamers and visionaries?”
“…, whoever takes the biggest risk gets to lead. What if we put people into leadership positions using the same litmus test? We don’t just need leaders who know. We need leaders who do. Authority based on action!”
Was he talking about Mosaic or Lifepoint? If it wasn’t us he was referencing, we’d best get our buns off the couch and go face down on the carpet. We talk it, we say we want it . . . are we doing it?
No reason in the world we can’t.
I want to be in the Excitable Git-Er Dun Tribe.
