We have officially concluded our first day in Fortaleza. I am exhausted. I feel like I have completely lost a day and I will never be able to get it back. We got on a plane on Wednesday at 1:40pm in Raleigh and flew to Miami. From Miami to Menaus. From Menaus to Balayne (i have no clue how to spell it). From that place i can’t spell to Fortaleza. We got off the plane at 5:45am this morning. It was long to say the least.
I will do a brain dump and then get off this computer before they make me pay to use it.

- Riding in a taxi is better than riding in a Nascar!
- Nothing is as sweet as it tastes in America.
- Be careful because someone could rob you and steal your camera at any given moment. The police warned us.
- Rats can crawl across your feet during dinner. Just ask Arimar.
- Crabs have hair on them.
- Arimar eats fish eyes.
- Shopping the market at night is pretty cool.
- Just because you can wear a thong doesn’t mean you should.
- Coffee here rocks my face off!
- I love and miss my family big time.
