I think today is Friday. I just finished grabbing some breakfast here at the hotel. For the record, breakfast here is off the charts good. The pineapple is to die for. The coffee is unlike any coffee that I have ever had. It´s crazy good.Â
Today we are heading downtown to get some supplies and food to take to Ubauna. Joe says downtown will be interesting. We´ll be sure to capture some on film.Â
Last night, Brad and I went out to the market to look at some of the artwork. Some of it is amazing. We even attempted conversations with the locals. We felt proud of ourselves.Â
My biggest frustration to this point is that I didn´t learn more of the language before making the trip. The people are very friendly and it is tough not being able to talk to them.
On a side note, brad and I have been hit on once and people think we are German boys. Go figure.
