The Real F Word is cranking! What an amazing weekend. I am digging this series in a big way. Sunday was our largest attendance to date which was awesome. We had 347 which is up roughly 140% from last year. It is neat to see and meet so many new people. The coolest part of the series is knowing that so many people are getting unleashed and freed up to live the potential that God created in them.
Here are a few highlights from this past weekend:
- Set design is absolutely awesome.
- Brad our creative director put together an awesome “noomaish” video for our service.
- I got to do a pretty cool monologue at the beginning of my message.
- Our band did a sweet job with “I’m not ready to make nice” by the Dixie chicks.
- People got to hold bricks in their hand during the entire message.
- I got to speak with a backpack full of bricks on my back.
- We didn’t have enough bricks for everyone in attendance during the second service.
- I got to use a Billy Madison Clip at the end of the message.
- People are eating up the message cd’s.
- We had several people begin a relationship with Jesus!
- Our set up/tear down team knocked it out of the park!
Last week was incredible. Take my advice…you have never experienced in church what you will experience this weekend! Trust me. Invite your friends this weekend. You’ll be glad you did! You don’t want to miss it!
This series is rocking like crazy and God is doing huge things already! I think the next two weeks seriously might make us poop ourselves! It’s only the beginning!!!!
