Jeff…thanks a bunch for your effort in posting these notes. As I read your post, the more obvious Jesus’ words ring true that the 1st and 2nd greatest commandments pretty much sum “it” up.

I am not convinced by the shallow rhetoric. It continues to be disturbing to me. The limited understanding of true gospel preaching. What was the comment, “Pastor’s of larger churches endure more pain.” I would challenge you to find that in the Bible. I would also ask how pastor’s pastor larger church. I have seen bigger church’s with a figure head and no relationship which is the norm in most large churches. Instead of making disciples we create facilitators. You should pray before swallowing all of the above.

I wrote a paper in college about that last quote from Sir Francis Drake….I wish I knoew what I did with it.
