I’m not talking about “FREE STUFF WITH STRINGS ATTACHED” stuff. We’ve all been burned by that line before. I’m talking about stuff that is really free. And let me add, if you’re going to give stuff away make sure it’s stuff people actually want. Crazy idea I know.
Today I was reminded why I love pastoring Lifepoint. During our management team meeting today I presented the idea of duplicating our weekend service on DVD. For some reason God has created an opportunity for us to reach people via video. For instance, there will be ten people in the big town of Slickville, PA this weekend gathering around a TV to watch the 1st week of the Real F Word Series.
So, I shared with our team my idea to buy a 10 disk DVD burner and sell the dvd’s on the weekends. The management team agreed and said that we should produce our services on dvd but, we should give them away for FREE! FREE! I was thinking $5 a piece but hey, FREE sounds even better. This is again just one more reason I love Lifepoint.
Unbelievable! How Awesome! You do really miss a lot without the visuals. Don’t get me wrong– the cd’s are great, but obviously dvd’s would add so much to the impact of each message. You guys are so awesome! God Bless!
Dido man! There is no where else I would rather be than at Lifepoint! I remember in the early days us all saying we should just give everything away. It’s awesome to see us sticking at it and God blessing it so that we can!
From someone who lives 10 hours away and has been praying and asking God to provide away for me to still be apart of your weekends…I am blown away! Thank God for hearts that listen to his voice. The CD’s have been great, but the DVD’s will be better… God bless you guys for all that you continue to do to share God’s word with everyone.
