So this is a bunch of randomness that is rolling around my head right about now.
- We just wrapped up an incredible 7 part series on family. This was probably one of our best series to date. I can’t believe the ADD allowed me to stay focused for seven weeks. That has never happened before.
- I am by far the least likely to talk about finances, but then again God’s not looking for millionaires just ordinary folks who will be faithful!
- Next week begins our “God at the Billboard” Series. This is gonna be a blast.
- We are finally starting to “Get ahead” at Lifepoint. This week I will be working on the message for July 22nd. I’ve been writing two message a week for the past few weeks. I know it will pay off soon.
- I want you to meet Jill (she’s engaged to Brad my creative director), she will be handling the bulk of my scheduling as well as some of my email correspondence. This will make us all really, really, happy.
- We missed Daryl, but managed to stay afloat without him. He had the privilege of hanging out at Newspring with some friends out there. Thanks to Perry, Jason, and Lindsay for taking such good care of him.
- I got to grab lunch with our team that is headed off to Ubauna, Brazil in two weeks. These guys are gonna have th experience of a lifetime.
- Daryl and I are headed off to the buzz conference in DC this week.
- I am jacked about June 29th…the launch of the iphone!
- The lack of waves has been driving me nuts. I’m jonesing for some surf.
- I have got to get back to the gym.
- The Lifepoint Annex is coming together nicely. I will put up some pics before long. Our students are going to have a sweet place to call home this fall.
- Seeing some people step out trust God never gets old.
That’s about it for now.
Are you going to get an iPhone on launch day?
If all goes well, I plan to get the iphone on launch day. I have been saving my pennies for quite a while now.

Oh man, am I ever gonna be jealous if you get an iPhone so soon! All us Mac users here in South Arkansas (all three of us) will have to wait until like November before we can get our mitts on one.
i thought you looked slightly pudgier this weekend at the beach…and your arms aren’t as toned as usual. good thing that gym membership will come in handy again.
