Do you know this guy?
This is Dave Holt (aka Gaylord Baumgardner, aka Rover, aka the Bull) and his wife Kristen. Dave is our official resident Moron (and I mean that in a really nice way). He makes me laugh like crazy! You’ve probably seen Dave singing on stage or in a video or just hanging out in the lobby. Maybe you’ve even wondered exactly what does he “do” around here? Good question…
…Other than making us laugh and stinking at Guitar Hero, Dave is our official Minister of Students. Dave is in charge of developing a student ministry that will greatly impact students in our city. Dave is a big dreamer and risk taker. As a matter of fact, Dave is so passionate about Lifepoint and reaching people that he actually raised his own salary this year.
We are excited to announce that on September 6th we are busting the doors wide open on our student ministry ANNEX! That’s right, on the first thursday of September, Ignite, our student ministry will have it’s GRAND OPENING! Why IGNITE! Simple, we want to see students IGNITE with a passion for Jesus, a purpose for life!
The ANNEX is still coming together and we have much work to do to get ready for this big day but I am certain that Lifepoint is going to make a huge impact on teenagers. If you’d like to know more about Ignite than be sure to stop by Dave’s blog or shoot him an email.
