After taking a day off from the BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS that we have been rolling out as a church I am ready to release the third BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT #3: THIS FALL IS GOING TO BE GINORMOUS! **ginormous=huge
Allow me to be more specific! We have several dates on the calendar for this fall that are going to greatly impact our church and our community. Here they are:
AUGUST 25TH–THE DREAM TEAM EXPERIENCE! The Dream Team Experience is a one day, high energy, leadership training event for everyone that is signed up to serve on the Dream Team. This Experience will position us to reach the people that God is going to send to Lifepoint this fall. So get your calendars out and mark AUGUST 25TH from 8:30am-12:30pm. Be there!
SEPTEMBER 9TH–FALL KICKOFF! We’re turning up the volume on September 9th and kicking off the fall with a new series titled PULSE! The fall has proven to be a great time of growth for the church and we are praying that this year will be even bigger. We are sending out 20,000 invitations to families in and around our our community. Start praying NOW that God will do some amazing things on Sept. 9th!
OCTOBER 7TH–PORN SUNDAY! Yes, you read that correctly. On October 7th we will be talking about the ugly addiction of pornography and the hope that is found in Jesus. This will be the most controversial topic that we have ever discussed. Big Deal! We’re not afraid of controversy. What we know is that the porn industry has outpaced professional baseball, basketball, and football in yearly revenues combined, it rips apart families and is destroying individuals…even in the church! We, the church, have been silent for too long. Lifepoint is partnering with xxxchurch.com and hundreds of churches across the US on Oct. 7th to confront the “ELEPHANT IN THE PEW!” You definitely don’t want to miss this one!
OCTOBER 28TH–FRIEND DAY! I’ll have have to share more about this one when we get a little bit closer.
As you can see, this fall is already shaping up to be an intense and very exciting season of ministry for Lifepoint!

Comment on xxxchurch. I’ve known about them for a while and I’ve heard their message on my college campus and at a local church all in one weekend. They have an amazing message of hope and strength and do a great work to battle that which we are so easy to shove under the rug. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did. Great choice.
