I’m writing this as I’m about to drift off to sleep.  I am completely exhausted and excited all at the same time.  Today’s services were incredible.  The band was smokin!  Chad ripped the guitar so amazing he brought the house down…literally!  We had an incredible start to a series that i believe will transform our church.  Today was one of those days where I could’ve talked for hours.  I was so JACKED UP to get to talk about being a church that is passionate about Jesus.  You can listen to the podcast on Monday right here!  Attendance was amazing today!  But the best part of the entire day was finding out that atleast 12 people began a relationship with Jesus today!  That makes 32 people in the past 4 weeks.  That averages out to just about a person per day! Lifepoint, this is what it is all about!  This fall is going to be amazing!  Get Ready!

Jeff- the message today was amazing! I am so thankful to be a part of a church that is so passionate for Jesus. And thank you for being an awesome pastor that is also so passionate for Jesus.

Today was awesome!! I was talking to Brad before the service and he was saying that it was one of those days where things just werent coming together as well and stuff was just going wrong. I told him that its usually the sunday mornings that begin like that that turn out to be the most amazing. we have the highest attendance and the Lord does the most amazing things on the days that it seems like Satan is there to shut us down! There was one Sunday a few weeks ago where a bunch of people were missing and stuff wasnt working, yet it was like the highest attendance since ive been at Lifepoint. Brad was saying that God just shows us that its not about us on these days. its all about Him! Thats whats soo cool about this church. it is about Him and we all know that. No one tries to take things into their own hands, and if/when we try, we quickly see that it is not ours to take on! just like in the message today when Jeff was saying that he couldnt fix people. Lifepoint couldnt fix people…but, we CAN point people to Christ. and He alone can fix people :) that just makes me smile!!! It was an awesome message today! Lots of “first timers”!! Im excited for the next two weeks :)

I agree with Chapin, the bad start always turns into the come back from behind, where did he come from win!! Good service, sorry I kicked the light over while SINGING OUT LOUD, got the spirit in me i guess.

Great message, Jeff. It is all about living for Jesus–living in His kingdom. If people could only get a glimpse of what it means to live in His kingdom–why would/how could they want to live any other way. That’s why living our lives for Jesus serves as such a strong testament. When people can see Jesus in us, they can see the difference it makes–they can see the love we have for others, even strangers (Rebecca, awesome what you did), the strength we have for life, the peace we have in storms, the hope we have in things unseen (the list goes on). Jesus is the answer.

Awesome weekend. Thanks for bringing it.
