DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF FIRST IMPRESSIONS!
One of the struggles as your church or business grows and becomes more establish is the lack of ability to see your environment with FRESH EYES. It becomes easy to over look that sign that is showing some wear or that light that is burnt out or that RAT TRAP that is nestled nicely outside your restaurant for all your customers to see.

Yes that is a real rat trap and yes it was sitting outside the Fuddruckers in Raleigh. Here is an important lesson. If I wasn’t completely sold on Fuddruckers burgers and buns then I would’ve turned right around and went to another restaurant. In the church and business world we must find ways of walking into our environments for the first time and see everything with a fresh perspective. If your only input comes from those who are familiar with your environment than you very well may be overlooking an eye sore that could detract a first time guest. Our mission is too great!
Lose the rat trap…or atleast put it out of sight.
