Last night our staff had the privilege of having dinner with Mac Lake and wife Cindy. This time together was like drinking from a firehose. Mac is definitely smoking what he’s selling when it comes to Leadership. One of the most memorable things he said was that in Leadership YOU’VE GOT TO PUT YOUR BIG BOY PANTS ON! That thought just cracked me up!
Leadership can be a challenge. There are days when you think you will explode with passion and then there are days you feel like a complete failure. There are days when people are singing your praises and then there are days when you feel like you dropped the ball. Regardless of how you are FEELING you’ve got to PUT YOUR BIG BOY PANTS ON and get back to work. The mission doesn’t stop just because you got your feelings hurt. You’ve got to keep your head in the game and your pants dry!
