I am sick of reading Job. However, I find humor at some of the sayings found in there:
Job speaking to his friends: “I have heard all this before. What miserable comforters you are! Won’t you ever stop blowing hot air? What makes you keep on talking?”
You got to love friends.
Job can be tough to read–his friends stunk and worse, they remind me that at times I stink as a friend, too. But that’s cool you’re going thorugh it.
my all time favorite Job verse-11:12
Maybe a bit traditional and predictable but in the midst of all of the Job depression comes his great proclamation, his cry of hope, his prophecy of eternity, all of which are…my favorite Job verses: 19:25-26.
“I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end He will stand upon the Earth. And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh will I see God.”
Amen!
