What an incredible day. I love it when everything comes together…except for the weather. Of course there’s not much we can do about that.
Today was amazing for several reasons:
- Today was our highest attendance.
- The rain didn’t keep too many away.
- Our greeters went over the top walking people in under their umbrellas.
- Our band was smoking. They played Life is a highway and nailed every part of it.
- Dave hit notes today that I didn’t know was possible.
- Our children’s ministry was packed.
- Lots of first time guests.
- College students came out of the wood work.
- Tons of new people serving on the dream team.
- 6 people that began a relationship with Jesus today!
- There was a buzz in the lobby!
- The AC wasn’t working well but nobody complained.
- Some of the friends whose names were written on the chairs last week showed up.
I felt like today was one of those Services where we could frame it and hang it on the wall. We won’t of course but it’s nice to work hard and something and see it all come together. Great job guys! Here’s a few pics from today. Hop over to the flickr for more shots.

Am I roaring?
I told Drew and the rest of the band that smoking causes lung cancer.
Drew and Dave had Hall and Oat’s chemistry going on. If Drew was shorter with a man-stache (see it now)
