I’ve been at this blog thing for a little over a year now. To date I have 523 posts and 1031 comments. I love blogging. Not only do I like writing blogs but I also enjoy reading them. I have learned that there are several types of residents here in “Blog World.” There are:
- The Blog Hog: This is the person who consumes blogs but never contributes. This is the reader but not writer.
- The Blog-a-holic: This is the person who blogs every time they go to the bathroom. Every detail in life is meticulously recorded in their blog. (I have been guilty of this)
- The Blog Bully: This is the guy that would never say something to you in the real world but doesn’t think twice about attacking you in the virtual world. (I’ve definitely been attacked by this guy. He typically goes by the name of “anonymous”)
- The “I got your back” blogger:Â This is the person who runs to defend your honor when the blog bully takes a swing at you. (I got a few of these guys…what’s up gang!)
- The “out for daily blog” blogger: This is the personal who blogs once per day religiously. No more no less.
- The MIA blogger:Â This is the person who blogs one day and then you don’t hear from them for another month or two.
Do you know of some other bloggers I left off the list?

Eddie added these kind words on Sep 30 07 at 11:16 pmI take pride in trying hard to be an “I got your back” blogger. Besides, I do love a good scrap! (Verbal only)
AT added these kind words on Oct 01 07 at 10:00 amI’m a “daily blogger”….well, except for the weekends. IT’s rare that I blog on the weekends unless it’s a quick hit form my blackberry. The weekends are a family thing. But - I love the blog world.
Two other’s that I’ve noticed, at least in the “Christian Blog-os-phere” - is the “Paid Staff blogger” ie: preachers, music ministers, ect.. and then the “other christians” I guess. Those of us (yes, I’m one of them) that are not paid ministers but we blog about our walks with Christ, Religion, and the world around us.

Bryan added these kind words on Oct 01 07 at 1:07 pmHow about the “Re-Blogger”. This is the person who takes a great idea from another blog and reposts it as their own. This blogger looks very smart and creative unless the reader is following the same blogs.
It’s one thing to forget a link on blog post. It’s an entirely different thing to be serial re-blogger.
How about the “A.D.D. Blogger” This is the person who finds it impossible to keep a blog post focused on one topic. I can identify with this type of blogger since I am the poster boy for A.D.D…
Wait, I forgot. What was the question, again?
Mark added these kind words on Oct 01 07 at 1:32 pmThere is the “?Blogger”. The I am not sure what a blog is, is it safe, and is it sanctioned by a respected, recognized organization that has dues paying members?
Yes I am old, but I am technologically efficient, but have never grasped the blog concept. Even had trouble figuring out how to respond. Therefore I am a “?Blogger”.
Whatever happened to emails and phone calls?
“Sara. Would you get me my house? And while you’re at it let Barney know I’m lookin’ for him, Aunt Bea’s just made a mess of pickles and we need to do somethin’ right quick.”
