I am humbled at the thought that I have the privilege every week to stand up and speak the truths of God ’s word.  This is a task that I do not take lightly.  This is also something that I wrestle with week in and week out.  I don’t ever want to stand on stage and be a talking head.  My greatest desire is to say what God would have me to say and to say it in a way that people would connect with their heavenly father.  This is a big responsibility and I am honored to be given to opportunity.

“For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News.  Our purpose is to please God, not people.”–1 Thess. 2:4

If you have the opportunity to speak here are a few things to remember.

I hope that you will never forget. I pray that you will always remember. You are precisely right on both counts…it is a tremendous honor, and it is a responsibility of such significance that it’s success may not be measured or realized until we are finally Home! Keep following after His perfect will. I see His hand on you!
