Tonight was the third week of my starting point group and I thought I’d share some key things that were said tonight. First let me say that I love starting point because so many people are willing to be honest about beginning their journey to learn more about God and what it means to have a relationship with Him.
- Â ”What a difference 9 months can make.” (when referencing how much her relationship with God has changed)
- “I attended a catholic church until I was 7 but then quit and haven’t been back in over 30 years until I found lifepoint.”
- “I always thought my life was so screwed up but so were all those people in the Bible.”
- “It was hard for me to seperate a bedtime story from a Bible story. What is fact and what is fable?”
- “My Bible smells like mildew.”
- “I thought about doing one of those “read the bible in 3 years things” but that’s a big commitment. I’m not ready for that yet!”
