Here’s the first reason:
The second is because I get to hear stuff like this:
- I was born in a car next to a buffalo field…I couldn’t wait!
- Coffee & Donuts made it easier to get my husband to church.
- 80 mph wind is rough…especially when you’ve had too much to drink and trying to fix the roof!
- Atleast people should grow up to screw up. (when talking about living in a broken world)
- And then we started flipping the bird to at the principal…I was smart, I put on 7 pairs of underwear…but he was a thigh spanker!
- I wish I would’ve listened to my dad!
- My child used pages from my bible for rolling dope. But now he’s a great Christian dad!
I’ve got the best group…beat that!

i admit, that’s a pretty impressive list. best thing i’ve ever heard at our life group in chicago… “The priest tore open the bread and blood stared pouring out, no joke.” Where do you go from there?
I don’t know…that’s pretty hard to top. I do know last Sunday night we had homemade Thai coconut soup, hummus, fresh bread, pumpkin bread and a pumpkin pie still warm from the over with Cool Whip. My group is TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!
My group is pretty cool too…I get pegged in the face by teenagers with lime stress balls…
Its pretty hard to be very cool at 8 AM on Saturday morning! Our Lifegroup is less cool than it is HARDCORE! I love those comments from your group. They are what we might call “Keeping It Real!”
