I realize I’m a little late to the party on this one(seems as if I’m the last guy to read/blog about the book unChristrian) but I thought I’d share a few powerful insights that I’ve run across in the book so far.
- We do not look like Jesus to outsiders because we do not love outsiders like Jesus does.
- There is nothing more powerful than the Christian life lived out in obedience; there is nothing worse than a flat, self-righteous form of faith that parades around in Christian clothes.

I would say welcome to the party, but there is nothing approaching a party about this book. It is one of the most vital books I have read, but most of it is hard to realize about ourselves and thus…no party! I am so happy to hear that you are reading it, because it has been my prayer that every Christian leader in America would read it and then apply it to their own ministry.
