Nothing.

That’s exactly what I did.  I did nothing.  I pretended that he wasn’t there.  I drove on to Port City Java to do some studying and to buy the PCJ crew some lunch for letting me turn their coffee shop into my office.  So I asked the PCJ crew what they wanted for lunch and they all agreed, “grilled chicken ceasar salads” from O’Charley’s.  Grilled chicken ceasar salads it was.

So I drove to O’Charley’s to pick up the salads and guess who was still standing on the median between McDonald’s and Chik-fil-A?  It was the grizzly Adams looking homeless guy.  Yet again I drove past him and pretended that he wasn’t there.  However, I knew I was supposed to do something.

I picked up my salads, got back in the car and headed back to PCJ to make my delivery.  This time when I drove past the homeless man I actually looked at him.  I didn’t know what to do so I did nothing.

I dropped off the Salads for my Port City Java crew and was heading out the door when one of the baristas asked me if I was going to eat my salad.  I thought, “I didn’t order a salad…we must have been given an extra one.”

I knew what I was supposed to do.
