Dream Team Banquet Review

What a night! I thought the banquet would be fun but I didn’t know it would be THAT MUCH FUN! We’ve got an incredible team. It was neat getting to serve our team. Here is a rundown of what took place.

• Our staff met our volunteers at the door and escorted them to their tables.
• Drew and Daryl rapped a Christmas in Hollis Remix that was incredible.
• Our awards ceremony got hijacked by “Rover” which was quite comical.
• One of the awards was in honor of Jeff Harman who knocked our back drop down one time. During his award the back drop “magically” fell down to expose a half naked executive pastor. I had no idea this would happen. I nearly wet myself!
• After I kicked Rover off the stage we proceeded to give out the “real” awards for people who have gone above and beyond. This was tough because we really feel that everyone on our team deserved an award. They’re all awesome.
• I had the privilege of giving a 2007 recap of all that God has allowed us to be apart of. Lifepoint is NOT NORMAL!
• After the 2007 recap the entire staff returned to the stage “in costume for one last final dance performance that was off the hook!
• What a night!
