I was waiting until tonight to write the recap for our Shine Series. This has to be the most inspirational series that I have been apart of. There are so many stories to share that there is no way that I can do justice to all that God has done in and through Lifepoint. Here are just a few:
- I won’t forget the young man who told me that the past two weeks have changed his life!
- The generosity throughout this series has been insane:
- Â Over $5,000 was spent on gifts for underprivileged children.
- Over $2,100 was sent to purchase food and Christmas gifts for children living in poverty in Ubauna.
- Over $2,000 was given to SHINE the light of Jesus to Wilmington through random acts of kindness.
- Christmas was provided for one 5yr old boy battling Nephrotic Syndrome.
- $1,000 will be given to help a family rebuild their life after a tragic fire.
- 300+ homeless and less fortunate people were fed on Christmas Eve.
- One man told me that the first week of this Series changed his life!
I’ve said it several times throughout this series but I want to say it one more time…Thank you Lifepoint for being so passionate about pointing people to Jesus!
