This morning we had a management team meeting where we discuss items such as budget, spending, saving, giving, and all kinds of stuff that usually causes my eyes to glaze over. However, something was said this morning that made me jot it down.
When talking about being wise stewards one of our team members said this, “It’s not about the dollars coming in, its about the dimes going out.” This is a true statement. We feel that we are a pretty frugal church but we are ratcheting down in 08 on the dimes going out.
Dimes add up. At the end of the day we want to be sure that we are spending as much money as possible doing what God has placed us here to do.

Jeff …. I just have to say that you have grown so much in the past 2 years (almost 3). The Jeff I first got to know was not this wise and not the person you are today. I admire you so much for that. As I have said before … keep taking chances for God … you will be blessed in return for those chances. The bigger the risk, the bigger the blessing.
