What a moment! I got to baptize a friend in the ocean today! What a privilege! It was freezing but it wasnt gonna stop John from being obedient to Jesus. He leaves for Iraq on Sunday and wanted his friends to be there when he got baptized.
Daryl and I got to join John in the 50degree water. The sad part was that the water was warmer than the air!
This will go down as a highlight in my book.
that is so awesome. my husband got to baptize our son in the ocean with his 3 best friends & their dads. it’s an event none of us will ever forget… on so many levels. so cool.
Tell me you wore your wetsuit?
I was a witness, and none of them wore a wetsuit. I was cold watching on shore, so I can’t imagine how cold it was in the water!
