Amazing Week

This week is going to go down in the history books as one of the coolest weeks of my life. After Church yesterday we loaded our staff and two volunteers up and headed down to Newspring Church to catch their 6:45pm service. Perry, Lee, and the entire Newspring staff knocked it out of the park. These guys are not only the best at creating an experience for guest to meet Jesus but they are fun, down to earth people. Last night we just soaked it all up. Today all of our staff had one on one meetings with the staff of Newspring. These guys poured into our staff in a big way. Daryl and I got to sit in on the Senior Management Team meeting which was very insightful and then spend about two hours just talking to Perry and asking him questions…here’s the crazy part…Perry asked us questions. I have great admiration for a leader that is hungry to learn from anyone…even a newbie like Lifepoint. To top off our day Daryl and I got to sit in on band practice which was just incredible.

As you can see it’s been a long day. The good news is that I’m feeling much better. Here’s what the rest of the week looks like.
Tuesday…it’s off to Canton, Georgia the home of the bulldogs, someplace the devil went down to, and REVOLUTION CHURCH! I am pumped about seeing Gary and the team at Revolution.

Wednesday-Thursday…it’s off to Atlanta for a Church Planters round table with a bunch of really cool guys (some I already know and some I’m looking forward to meeing) at Stone Creek Church. I’m sure I’ll have tons to share afterwards.

Good night.

What a relief and an answer to prayer to hear that you are feeling better. To be honest with you I was taken aback when I saw you between services yesterday. I know that this is going to be a special week and I am praying that the Holy Spirit will reveal things to your heart that will be indispenible to the unfolding vision that continues to become Lifepoint Church. We Love You Pastor!
