Daryl and I got to meet and hang out with some of the Revolution staff today. What a blast. I didn’t know what to expect. We grabbed lunch at Jock’s and Jill’s with Gary, Preston, Tim, and Adam followed by a little “rock band” jam session. Here’s my thoughts about Gary and his crew.
- What you see is what you get. I love that about these guys.
- Taylor, Gary’s assistant, deserves a massive pay raise and a medal for having to put up with those guys.
- Their offices had a cool vibe to them.
- Gary definitely has a real pirate sword in his office that I wanted to swing at somebody.
- Gary’s fish tank puts my ant farm to shame.
- You either love him or hate him.
- He is passionate about reaching people who don’t know Jesus. No doubt about it!
- I felt like we had known each other for years.
- Yes, Gary did eat paint chips as a kid.
Thanks Revolution for an awesome afternoon. I look forward to hanging with you guys more often.
