While reading Ephesians this week I was reminded that I don’t have a job…I have a privilege! Paul says it like this in Eph. 3:7– “By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.”

You don’t have a job, you have a privilege. Regardless of what you do for a living God has place you there to spread the good news about Him.

It is so easy to forget why we do what we do. It is not to sell widgets, teach kids, collect garbage, or punch a clock…it is to spread the good news.

A job says, when can I get out of here.

A privilege says, what is the best I can do.

A job says, I’m working for a paycheck.

A privilege says, I’m working for Jesus.

A job says, when do I get a break.

A privilege says, how can I serve others.

I don’t have a job…and neither do you!
