Tonight I have the privilege of holding an ordination service for Dave Holt.  If you’re from Lifepoint than you know Dave as Rover, aka, Gaylord Baumgardner, aka the Bull, aka the guy with muscles that sings (sorry drew), the guy that heads up Ignite (our student ministry).  Hopefully, you know who I’m talking about.  If you are still unsure…click here.

I’m excited to share some insights into ministry with Dave, his family, and friends.  Ministry is unlike anything else.  I am so proud of Dave and Kristen for surrendering their lives completely to Jesus.  I am pumped to see how God continues to use them here at Lifepoint!

Drop by Dave’s blog and give him a shout out!

Thanks for a wonderful and meaningful service for Dave…One thought that sticks with me is the point on being inadequate — but worry when you feel that you are adequate…(roughly paraphased)
Thanks again!
