My brain juice is running pretty low so I don’t know how much I will be able to remember about our services today.
- We had two great services today.
- We backed our stage up some more to create more room for chairs. Â I think we are as far back as possible.
- Doing this “Why?” series has been great but it has also been fairly stressful. Â I have studied more for this series than I have for the past few. Â I don’t ever want to give insensitive answers to extremely sensitive questions.
- Today, rather than tackling one question I decided to tackle four. Â I probably should’ve only done 3.
- Here are the questions:
- Why did God create us?
- Why does it appear that the Bible places women “lower” than men?
- Why can’t there be one God with different names?
- Why does God use the imagery of “Father” and then give us crappy fathers?
- Attendance was 606 (i think) which is great knowing that our K-12th grade’s are on spring break.
- I have had more people talk to me about how Lifepoint is giving them hope than ever before.
- Tons of great stories are coming in!
- One girl said to me today that she had 3 friends with her that never would’ve stepped foot in any other church in Wilmigton. Â THAT IS INCREDIBLE!
- We are seeing more and more hurting and broken people coming through our doors and meeting Jesus.
- I am super pumped about our next Series that starts in 2 weeks!

Hey is the service from this past Sunday up and running? I really want to hear it, but it doesn’t do anything when I click on it, it plays the others but not the one from Sunday. I didn’t know if it had been downloaded yet or not.
