The following are my notes from Brian’s first session. Â I have to add the disclaimer that this is one of the most ADD guys I’ve ever heard speak…I loved it. Â However, I’m not exactly sure if all my notes will make sense.
“You can not seperate the Kingdom of God from the Local Church.”
Title: Â Moving Forward to the Past
- Psalm 51–Create in me a clean heart O God and restore a new spirit within me.
- Shape a Genesis week in the chaos of my life.
- Restoring-Bringing something back to what it’s maker intended.
- In order for me to get where I want to be, I must first get back to where I was.
- All great stories start with “once upon a time.”
- We must move forward to what once was and onward to what will be.
- Don’t bring your belief down to the level of your experience but elevate your experience to the level of your belief.
- Deut. 34:7–Moses was 120 years old but his eyes were not dim.
- If you want to reach young people you must have a sense of youthfulness in your spirit.
- One of the signs of growing old spiritually is that you don’t see God in the things you used to.
- You’ve got to make a choice to live life moving toward what never was.
- Never lose the joy of your salvation.
- THE BEST IS YET TO COME!Â
