I’ve been enjoying this 21 days so far.  I feel like God has been reaffirming His love for me over the past few days.  Each Scripture has cemented the fact that I am created ON PURPOSE FOR A PURPOSE!  You were too!

Here are a few thoughts from today’s reading of Psalm 139:13-18 and Isaiah 64:8.

What does this passage say?

Why is this passage in the Bible?

  • Because, contrary to popular opinion, I am not an accident!  I was ON PURPOSE FOR A PURPOSE!
  • Not only was I made by God but I was “bought back” by Him after I ran away!
What should I do about it?
  • I should shut up about my insecurities and “flaws”.  God doesn’t make junk!
  • I need to live confidently in who I am created to be!
One last thought, Isaiah says, “and yet, O Lord, You are our Father!”  That thought pumps me up!

I am reading the scripture but it takes me awhile and a few reads to comfortably understand the messages. Day 5 did come easy. It has way more meaning now that I read Jeff’s Journal entry.
The day I read this I gave my daughter a ride to Ignite. We were listening to Collective Soul (what else). A song called “Better Now”. Its message clicked on the way. To me it is abbout life after one of the most important days of my life, BAPTISM.
I am loving life, myself and most importantly JESUS. Crazy side affects are loving family, friends and even “enemies”.

Collective Soul
“Better Now”
Oh I’m newly calibrated
All shiny and clean
I’m your recent adaptation
Time to redefine me

Let the word out I’ve got to get out
Oh I’m feeling better now
Break the news out I’ve got to get out
Oh I’m feeling better now

Oh I’m happy as Christmas
All wrapped to be seen
I’m your recent acquisition
Time to celebrate me

Let the word out I’ve got to get out
Oh I’m feeling better now
Break the news out I’ve got to get out
Oh I’m feeling better now

The world’s done shaking
The world’s done shaking
The world’s done shaking me down

The world’s done shaking
The world’s done shaking
The world’s done shaking me down
