I got this email today from my Dad who is an awesome leader at Lifepoint. Â Check it out!!!
I want to personally thank each of you guys for all you did today to make our volunteers and guests stay dry even though we all were soaked to our underwear. You guys went out of the way to show the love of Jesus today and I am proud to serve with each of you. I never realized how much fun you can have parking cars until I met some of you guys. Even on a very, very rainy day like today, I never heard one complaint and some of you went right back out for the second service when it was raining so hard we had a flood in the parking lot. I also want to say something about a few others who stepped up to help us. It was great to see others help where needed.ÂJay EdwardsKevin McGeorgeDaryl StricklandBrian SheltonKyleÂVictoria Strickland and Lindsay Javorsky. I heard Victoria say this was great how she got to help people stay dry today. Even the little ones learn from our example.ÂI am sure I missed someone who helped pitchin but I did want to thank each of you for going above and beyond today. I will go to war anyday with you guys.ÂÂThanks.ÂGeorge

Eddie added these kind words on May 12 08 at 9:40 amI am not surprised even a little bit, George! You have always set an excellent example of servanthood for others to follow. I’ve seen you drinched to the skin before and it wasn’t even raining. It was sweat because of how hard you were working! It makes me proud to be part of Lifepoint……..Thanks!
George added these kind words on May 12 08 at 2:03 pmThis e-mail was sent to the guys on the parking team who gave their all yesterday, they include Daniel, Joe, Mark, Clay, Hart, Johnny and Greg. Todd offered to serve yesterday but since we had so much help I told him to stay dry and spend time with his wife on Mother’s Day. There is no doubt Todd would have gotten wet along with the rest of us if I had asked him. Thanks parking team guys.

Kevin J. added these kind words on May 12 08 at 10:17 pmThank you for teaching my daughter the lesson. She totally enjoyed it and knew she had served that day. What is interesting is earlier this evening she was observing that everything at Lifepoint was free. She said her tithe must be helping to pay for it. My wife says she is as analytical as her father.
I love LIFEPOINT!
