What a weekend!  The past few days have been a blast.  I am completely wiped out right now.  Between Friday nights Wedding Rehearsal and a late night with the guys to a wedding on Saturday for Brad Escape from New York film and Jill to two services today…you could say I am spent.  We had a great day at Lifepoint today.  Here is a recap from today…as good as I can remember it.

  • Our 2 services are balancing out really well right now.
  • Today was part 2 of our LEGO series.
  • Drew
    The Wild Geese hd
    download A Perfect Day movie

    Felon psp

and the Band were smokin’ today!

  • Brad’s multimedia teams stepped up big time today in his absence.  Way to go guys!
  • Jill, yes we changed your name in our database today!
  • Brad actually called to check-in after the services…I’d say he’s committed to Lifepoint!
  • Attendance was great at 548.
  • The generosity of the folks at Lifepoint is blowing me away!
  • I found out this past week that several families at Lifepoint have been delivering meals to a family in the community that is going through a real tough time.  This kind of stuff completely pumps me up!
  • We are asking everyone to pick up a $10-$20 gift card to walmart, a grocery store, or gas station and bring it this sunday so we can bless this family.
  • By the way, this family has never been to lifepoint…but they say they can’t wait to say thank you to everyone!
  • I played a video of my son Emery Rocking out on the guitar.  I’ll try to through it up on youtube soon.
  • This series gives me an even greater respect and passion for families in Wilmington.
  • Today we talked about the “E” in LEGO.  It stands for: Set an EXAMPLE.
  • We need to Set an EXAMPLE by Modeling Character for our kids and Molding our kids.
  • The next two weeks of LEGO are going to be powerful!
  • This week I get to head out to Reston, VA for the Whiteboard Sessions with my friend and fellow church planter Tadd Grandstaff.
  • Next week is going to be different than any other week at Lifepoint. DO NOT BE LATE!
