Today was a history making day for THE Church and Lifepoint! Today was the kickoff of a series called ONE PRAYER. We are partnering with over 1400 churches all over the world to lift up the name of Jesus and unite as ONE. My one prayer came from my favorite passage of Scripture in Acts 3 and 4. My prayer is, “Lord make us Idiots!“ You can log on to lifepointmedia.tv and watch it in the next day or two. Here are a few quick hits from the weekend.
- Music was insane today!
- Cait Plage has a phenomenal voice! Her CD Release was strong!
- The Lifepoint folks blessed Cait in a big way. I love seeing people give $20 for a $10 CD because they are generous!
- Daryl has to stop putting out chairs when he is supposed to be doing announcements.
- We shared a really big announcement today that we are looking at a significantly larger facility to hold our worship experiences in.
- We’ll reveal more details in the next few weeks.
- I thought people were really connecting with the message today. Here’s the main points:
- Idiots do what others won’t!
- Idiots aren’t limited by what they have!
- Idiots believe the impossible is possible!
- Idiots who’ve been with Jesus will astound the world!
- The first service actually went longer than the second today. that is backwards.
- I got to talk to a guy tonight who was telling me about how he was extremely hungover the first time he came to lifepoint. He’s been 7 out of the last 8 weeks. I wish I could say that about some of our regulars.
- Attendance was strong today:Â 593

- We had a bunch of first time guests today.
- We’ve got people who are taking steps of faith and trusting God big time in their finances! I wish everyone would do that.
- Peter and John reached out to one person and wound up with a crowd. Too often we reach for a crowd but over look the one person.
- A friend of mine sent me an email telling me that her roommate came to church again this week and this time she brought a friend.
- Seeing people pointing their friends to Jesus never gets old!
- What a great weekend!
- Next week is going to be sweet!
