Here’s my quick reflections on today’s services:

• Today was a great day!
• It felt awesome to speak again!
• Three weeks off was a much needed rest. However, I was a bit nervous going into the first service.
• You saw these big things when you pulled on campus:

• We also had a Color Guard present the flags.  Thank You Robert and Andrew!
• Jeff Hughes ripped a Jimmy Hendrix like Star Spangled Banner!
• Our band rocked Broadcast with a special trash can solo!
•

• Today I began a mini-series called “UNLIKELY” based off the life of Gideon.
• Today’s message was a little heavier than I anticipated but I felt I said what I was supposed to say.
• We got to pray over our Ubauna Team that leaves this week and our students who are headed to camp.
• We had a handful of our Port City Church friends with us today.  I am so pumped about what God is doing at PC3.  I love being in the same city and working alongside of churches that have a passion for Jesus and His mission!  Keep it up PC3!  I’ll never forget Mike Ashcraft calling me the day before we launched and telling me that they were praying for us!  That was huge for me!
• Attendance was strong today:  661.
• We had a management team meeting after church today and we talked about some exciting things for this fall!
• This week we are going to be short staffed in the office!  Dave is at Camp.  Daryl and Tiff are with the team in Brazil.  Kevin is in Africa.  Brad and I will be surfing.  Just kidding about Brad and I.
