Here are my extremely brief thoughts about today. It’s late and I should be sleeping so here goes:

- Huge Kudos to our teams for stepping up big time today.
- Major Props to Jill Barbour for stepping up in Tiff’s absense today. Jill held it down in Kidzone!
- I got to give a shout out to Deb and Jay Edwards for coming back after the second service to help tear down. They knew we were extremely shorthanded today so they offered to help. I love you guys!
- We had some friends from C3 Church lead worship. Jordan and Patience Leino knocked the ball so far out of the park today that they can’t even find the thing. These guys are the real deal. Jordan and Patience, thank you for your passion and willingness to serve.
- I have been loving this UNseries. I wasn’t planning on talking about Gideon for 3 weeks. As a matter of fact we were going to do 3 stand alone messages. God gave me three unique ideas that pull Gideon’s story together. I can’t wait to wrap it up next week.
- Speaking of Rap…you’ve got to watch this video from my friend Tony McCollum.
- We were down 3 staff members today. It was cool to see our DreamTeam rise up!
- We started promoing our DreamTeam Experience on Saturday, August 16th with special guest–Pastor Matt Fry No Mans Land: The Rise of Reeker divx from c3 church.
- It sounds like our Ubauna team is experiencing some powerful stuff. You can read about their trip on Joe’s Blog.
- Main points from today: God is most likely to use the UNlikely! You’re UNcertainty doesn’t change God’s certainty!
- Next Week:Â God takes the UNlikely and UNsure and does the UNdeniable. It’s gonna be awesome!
- Yes, I did say that Gideon experienced an attack from the “But Lords!” Although I think some people throught I said, “Butt Lords!” It was funny…you had to be there!
- Attendance today:Â 563.
- Went out surfing with Brad today and caught some nice waves. Thank you Hurricane Bertha!
- Watched Surf’s Up with the family outside at Carolina Beach tonight.
- I was pumped to hear that Newspring Misery divx ‘s Greenville launch was such a success! Way to go guys!
- That’s it! I’m going to bed!
