Today was a great wrap up to our UNseries. I love the way God put this series together for me. Today was great for many reasons, here are a few!
- It was great to have Daryl Sidewalks of New York
, Tiffany Perfume: The Story of a Murderer , and Drew back today! I missed you guys!
- We were down a few key setup guys but we rolled on and made it happen anyway.
- We had a friend, John, play drums today and he was tearing it up!
- The band was clicking today! They seemed to really enjoy playing for Jesus!
- Randall had a great mix on the board.
- I have seriously enjoyed sharing the story of Gideon over the past three weeks.
- God is most likely to use the UNlikely!
- God is sure even when you are UNsure!
- UNbelievable odds set the stage for UNdeniable miracles!
- Only God can take a coward and turn him into a captain!
- Too often we think we have too little and God says we have too much! (God telling Gideon he has too many warriors!)
- God must work IN you before He works THROUGH you!

- We had approximately 8 people raise their hands today saying they were following Jesus!
- The room was electric when the band led with “Mighty to Save!”
- Daryl shared a few awesome stories from the trip to Ubauna.
- I got to catch some fun waves until I wiped out pretty hard and smashed my hand and my hip on my board. The board is fine. My hand and hip are sore!
- Got to eat some chicken wings with the Strickland family tonight! I love those guys.
- 1st service today had a sense of expectancy as we started the service. I love it!
- 2nd service didn’t start as intense but it definitely ended that way!
- Our friends from Port City Community Church had their first service in their new building today! I can’t wait to hear about it.
Hey Jeff- I am so gonna steal your “Un” Series idea for Gideon later this fall… can’t wait to take it to our “peeps”! Thanks in advance.
