While reading this passage today I was reminded of a simple truth.
2 Samuel 6:11– The Ark of the Lord remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom and his entire household. 12 Then King David was told, “The Lord has blessed Obed-edom’s household and everything he has because of the Ark of God.
The Ark of the covenant housed the presence of God. Everywhere His presence went a blessing went. If you want to experience the blessing of God you need to welcome His presence.
God’s presence in your home will bring God’s blessings in your home.
God’s presence in your marriage will bring God’s blessings to your marriage.
God’s presence in your finances will bring God’s blessings to your finances.
God’s presence in your business will bring God’s blessings to your business.
I guess the only question is, are you willing to be obedient to God so that His presence will fill your life?
