This is where my local church tour of duty got started. When my hiking trip got cut short yesterday I decided to take a stroll down memory lane.

One stop on the journey was at Centerview Baptist Church where I cut my teeth in student ministry. I was hired in 98′ to be the youth pastor to a group of six students. I had no clue what to do and my schooling didn’t amount to a hill of beans. Three years later we saw the student ministry grow to over 60 student weekly.

Over time God began transitioning me the next stop in my journey. Although I would leave Centerview in april of 02′, I would never lose Pastor Ronnie’s passion to see people come to know Jesus!

I thank God for my roots!
