Today was a great wrap up to our Shaped Series. Our teams were slamming today. Here are my random thoughts before hitting the bed.
- The band sounded great!
- While singing Mighty to Save, I felt like people were really engaging.
- Someone jazzed up my green room today with candy and other items of goodness.
- On a side note, my green room is neither green nor a room. I probably should find another name for it.
- Attendance was strong today. We still have lots of families out on vacation and most of our college students aren’t back yet but things were good at 587.
- Today our 11am service was bigger than our 9:30. I think that is a sign that summer is wrapping up.
- when we mention moving to Ashley High School our church applauds. That’s cool.
- We are gong to be sharing some exciting news this Sunday with our church about this fall. Don’t miss it.
- Thursday I have the privilege of hanging with Perry Noble and 12 guys for a Coaching Network. I am excited about how God is going to stretch me.
- I don’t have the official numbers but I think we had 5 or 6 people invite Jesus into their life today!
- We have our Dream Team Leadership Experience this Saturday for all of our team members. It’s gonna be awesome! Pastor Matt Fry will be our guest speaker.
- From the sounds of it, we had a good bit of people sign up to serve on our Dream Team today.
- Yes I got to play with Mr. Potato Head during the message and yes I threw his arm across the room.
- took a nap this afternoon. I don’t usually do that…it was great.
- We had a few new faces on our demolition team. that’s cool.
- I’ve got a lot to do this week and only 2 days to get it done. Pray for me.
- I wll be riding to Anderson on Wednesday with my friend Clay NeSmith. You can watch our entire trip live on exposedpastor.com.

I think you might have one very upset child on your hands if you didn’t! You already had my attention, you didn’t have to throw anything (although it definitely got your point across!).
