Today we kicked off a brand new series called, “ALIVE.” It is my hope that this series does two things:
1. Inspire people to live life fully Alive!
2. See 100 People come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior!
- Sunday was a great start to the series.
- We got to really see what it takes to set up Ashley High School on Sunday Morning. It’s quite a bit of work but our team is up to the challenge. By the way, we got a few openings for some non-wimpy people who want to work hard to make Lifepoint happen.
- We had some technical glitches 5 minutes before the 9AM Service. No problem…our team got it straight.
- My extremely inventive Executive Pastor developed a solution to black out the sky light so we are in business now!
- Our band busted out with Alive by POD. I’ve got to give Drew and the guys major props!
- We’ve got some big surprises up our sleeve for this weekend!
- We had 15 people stop by our next steps area to tell them that they began a relationship with Jesus! YES!!!!!!!!!!
- We played a powerful video by an amazing lady named Donna during our services. It was a huge encouragement to everyone. You can watch it on our website in the next few days.
- Choose to be alive in the moment!
- Huge shout out to our band guys for having a servants heart to do “whatever” was needed this past week!
- I’ve said this over the past few weeks and nobody has responded to the challenge…but I bet that our setup team can kick all other portable churches tails. It’s just a fact.
- So far we have seen 25 people come to know Jesus in the first 2 weeks at Ashley High School! God is amazing and the best is yet to come!

Klif added these kind words on Oct 07 08 at 12:48 pmHey Jeff,
I just wanted to take a minute and comment on Sunday’s message. I’ve been going to Lifepoint for…well…a little over a year I guess. Anyway, there have been several messages that you or Daryl have taught that have blessed me, but none more so than the one on Sunday. It was such a simple message, but sometimes those are the ones you need the most. I really connected with it and it taught me a lot. Thanks for listening to the Holy Spirit on that one.Klif Kinnamon
P.S. I’ve decided to leave my phone at home from now on when Melissa and I are on a date. I told Melissa and she was like…”FINALLY, time with my husband and not “that business guy I live with”.” haha…have a good week.
