Kenly, you turn six today! It seems like just yesterday that you were born. I’ll never forget how excited I was to finally see you and hold you. You were stubborn back then and you can still be stubborn today. You got that from your mom you know!
Just after you were born you began to face some complications. You began to turn a little yellow, kinda like you O.D.’d on sweet potatoes or something. The doctors put this mask over your eyes and placed you under this really bright light. We joked that you looked like batman. You had this glowing blanket on your back. You looked like a glow worm. It broke my heart because I couldn’t hold you. It’s hard to believe that was six years ago!
Now you are so BIG! Its hard to believe that you are in kindergarden! You are growing into a beautiful girl! I know that God has huge plans in store for you. He has wired you very unique. Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise. I want you to know that no matter what happens in life that your dad will always love you! Your Mom and I believe that God is going to use you to change the world.
