Psalm 1:1-3–Oh, the joys of those who do not
follow the advice of the wicked,
or stand around with sinners,
or join in with mockers.
2 But they delight in the law of the Lord,
meditating on it day and night.
3 They are like trees planted along the riverbank ,bearing fruit each season.
Their leaves never wither,
and they prosper in all they do. Following God’s Way is like being intentionally planted by the river. A panted tree grows slowly but consistently. Fruit is a natural bi-product of growing. No amount of heat can cause us to wither because we are watered on a constant basis. God’s blessings are on all we do.
Question: Where are you planted?
Thank you God for Your Word and Your Spirit that leads me and fills me. Help me to always choose You. Let my nourishment come from You. Let me stand firm under the heat of life. Let prosperity be the mark on my life as I seek to fulfill Your plan for my life. –Amen
