We had a busy weekend.
- We kicked things off on Saturday by hosting a Financial Counseling Experience with Joe Sangl. He trained several folks from Lifepoint and Barefoot Church on how to counsel people in the area of personal finances. I believe that this is one of the greatest needs in the church today.
- We hosted a Financial Learning Experience on Saturday evening called DebtFreeWilmington.com. We had a great time and I believe that many people are getting on the right track. Joe said that we were the rowdiest crowd he’s ever had. I think that is good!
- I did not speak this Sunday. Joe did an awesome job challenging people to enter the story. If you missed it you can check it out at lifepointnow.com
- Lifepoint has blown me away with their generosity to sponsor families from Sunset Elementary for Christmas this year! It jacks me up to think that some families are going to experience the love of Jesus this year simply because YOU GUYS SACRIFICED!
- We are providing Christmas gifts for 100 kids in Ubauna Brazil this week! I can’t wait to go and visit them in January!
- I have loved this Debt Free Wilmington Series because I think many people are stepping out in faith a putting God first. Keep it up guys!

- My Steelers just about gave me a heart attack yesterday! I had a small wager on the game that would’ve placed me in a Cowboys jersey on stage in the near future if they lost…however, that won’t be an issue now.
- Tony Romo is my new favorite player.
- Dane, if you’re reading this…I’ll take a Palamalu Jersey in a Medium! ha ha.
- We’ve got a busy week.
- Our staff is heading to Newspring on Wednesday for my coaching network. I’m excited about this because it is our entire staff and it is at the greenville campus!
- We are kicking off our “Christmas Unplugged” Series this Sunday! DO NOT BE LATE…YOU WILL REGRET IT. This series is gonna rock and no I am not just hyping it up! I truly believe it.
- We gave out quite a bit of tickets yesterday for our Christmas eve Services! Let me restate that this is a FREE event and noone will be turned away, but we are expecting a packed house. Tickets will help us better prepare for the evening.
