Every year we have had the privilege of giving back to our awesome community via an Angel Tree. We started this before we ever launched the church. In the previous years we partnered with Myrtle Grove Middle School to provide Christmas gifts to many of their families. This year we switch gears and focused our attention on Sunset Park Elementary School.
Why do we do this? The answer is simple. We get to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We get to be a tangible expression of God’s love to our community.
This year Lifepoint will have taken over 300 tags off of our Angel Tree. Those 300+ tags will represent thousands of dollars that could’ve been spent on ourselves and our own families but instead will plant a seed of love in the community.
Thank you to everyone who sacrificed this Christmas so that our community will experience the love of Jesus.
I am excited to see all 300+ gifts this Sunday as everyone brings their gifts to church this weekend. Don’t forget to wrap your gift and attach the tag to the outside of the package so that we can get them sorted.
