Sorry the weekend recap is just now getting posted.  Not having internet at home not only bites but it also is delays the weekend recap.  Here’s goes…

• We had a great part 2 of Christmas Unplugged.
• If you ever find yourself feeling like Christmas is chaotic just remember that it’s always been that way.  If you think you have it rough just imagine what it must’ve been like for Mary and Joseph.
• Question:  why do we always say Mary’s name first?  Just curious.
• AMIDST THE CHAOS  A SAVIOR WAS BORN!!!!!!
• The band played, Mary did you know and it rocked.  We gave it a little lifepoint flare!
• We ran IMAG for the first time this week.  We’ve got some tweaking to do but it is nice seeing our teams taking some risks.
• We’ve given away 996 tickets for Christmas Eve Services!  REMEMBER this is a FREE event and nobody will be turned away so keep inviting!
• By the way, Christmas Eve Services are at 4PM and 6PM.  Do not come alone…Bring Someone with you…It’s gonna be amazing!
• When we prayed 3 years ago for God to send us hurting people I had no idea what I was asking for.  The conversations I had yesterday with people at Lifepoint broke my heart.
• I prayed with a man who’s daughter just got arrested for Heroine.
• I prayed for a man who has terminal cancer.
• I talked to a man who just had a hip replacement.
• I talked with a friend who’s wife recently left him.
• I hugged a lady who lost her son just about a year ago.
• I saw a family who recently lost their dad.
• I facebooked a teenage girl who’s parents won’t come to church with her. (She thinks they’re coming on Christmas Eve…Pray for them big time!)
• I spoke with a family that drives 40 minutes from Brunswick county to come to Lifepoint!  That pumps me up!
• I spoke with a friend who just celebrated 16 years of marriage!
• God is working miracles all around us!
• I believe it takes a messy church to reach a messy world!
• NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED!
• Have I mentioned that Christmas EVE is gonna be incredible!
• Get your friends to come with you…I’ll let you in on a secret…I’m gonna be talking about Jesus and lives are going to be forever changed!
• We will not have services on the 28th…so sleep in, log on to lifepointnow.com and have church as a family.
• I want to say thanks to our Dream Team who has logged thousands of man hours creating an environment for people to hear about Jesus!
• Get ready for an awesome Christmas week!
