Back in June of 2005 I felt God was calling me to start a church. I said “NO” to God for over a year. It wasn’t until I was at BigStuf camp as a youth pastor that I finally said “YES!” After listening to Louie Giglio speak I sat on the beach and wrote this to God.
I want to be graphed into the story. The Big Letter Story. The one that doesn’t bear my name. The story that all of creation has bought a ticket to. I want to play a role. Any role. Whatever I am gifted for. Nothing’s too big or too small. I will be an extra who doesn’t even get listed in the credits or I will take the supporting Actor Role if invited. I just want to be a part of the feature presentation. Credit or No Credit. I want to abandon the world of logic and small minded thinking and dreaming and planning. I want to take up residence in the God sized miraculous, unexplainable wolrd of significance. I will play ay role at anytime in any place. I will anxiously await assignment. I am ready.
