Believe it or not but they do have the internet here. There are actually 3 internet or cyber cafes here in town…im running a 56k-128k connection. The trip has been great. There are tons of ministry opportunities in and around this area. I took a motorcycle ride with drew, Audrey (the pastor here), and one other guy to hike up a mountain and I was amazed at the people are spread out all over the place. 16 families live at the top of this mountain which took us 3 hours to hike up. People are everywhere.
So farI have had the privilege of speaking to a new church in Fortaleza once and here in Ubauna twice…so far. I usually find out a few hours before the service that I am speaking. It keeps you on your toes.
Keep praying for our team. We are getting a little tired but still have much work to do.
Pray for the village of Ubauna. Satan has been bullying this place around for way to long. Between superstition and oppression the people live in constant fear.
Pray we continue to see God do amazing things here. The kids have a joy that is contagious. I look forward to getting home and sharing pictures, video and stories with everyone.
