Yesterday while sitting in staff meeting we got an interesting phone call…
One of our volunteers who was running the phones asked us if we could take a collect call from the local jail. We were puzzled but said yeah.
As it turns out a young man that came to know Christ a little while back at Lifepoint got into some trouble and wound up in jail. To make a long story short this young man told his girlfriend that she needed to go to Lifepoint. She came this weekend for the first time and brought a friend with her. This young lady and her friend both invited Jesus into their lives as their Savior!
The young man in jail was excited that his girlfriend came to Lifepoint and found Jesus. He also shared with us that this past week he had the opportunity to lead another inmate to Christ.
Needless to say, it was an interesting phone call.

How freaking amazing is that! A guy witnessing from jail and allowing people to be exposed to truth. So unbelieveably incredible! I’m glad to hear that the church takes calls from jail.
I love seeing God use typically horrible circumstances to bring about good, glory and freedom. Amen!
Makes me feel like I need to memorize the church phone number, just in case.
Love to see God at work in unusual ways and places. Keep up the awesome message.
